Dear Joshua and Nicholas,

I wanted to give you a bit of an introduction to the video "Parental Alienation - From A Child's Perspective" before you watch it.

As much as I love both of you, and I do. This video is about much more than just our situation. It was certainly made for your benefit, but also to help other families that have been devastated by something called “Parental Alienation”.  I first learned about "Parental Alienation" from a book that Dr. Friedberg gave me to read - Divorce Poison by Dr. Richard Warshak. After reading the book it became clear that many families had been devastated from this form of abuse, not just ours.

I will be providing you with more information about this topic, as well as the ministry that has started because of what we have been through, in the future.   

The content of this video is written from a child’s perspective. It attempts to show some of the pain, loneliness, anger, betrayal and confusion that children experience when one of their parents forces (or convinces them) to hate, distrust or ridicule their other parent.

Although some of the frames in this video may not be your exact journey, you will recognize MUCH in this video as a part of your own personal experience and life. You have no idea what has really happened sons. Perhaps this video will give you a reason to research what Parental Alienation is, how and why it is implemented, and how you can overcome its’ effects.

In addition, it is my greatest hope that one or both of you is now old and strong enough to really question what you have been told about your father. If what you have been told is really true, you deserve to know that. If it’s not, you will discover the truth about my role in your life and what really happened all those years ago. That knowledge will bring great healing and freedom from pain in your life.

I am sorry that I wasn’t able to protect you from all that happened to you since I was taken from your life. I have never stopped loving you or working toward healing and help for both of you.
